- One Way Love

Part II - You do, To me.

Avoid the cities,
Their one-way streets confuse me,
Remind me of our love.

Tan lines from shadows,
Nights spent in awe of the moonlight,
As it streams down your body.

Scars smile back,
Proof of the blood I've spilled
To smooth your skin.

Gather dust with all my effort,
Hold my breath in solitude,
(All is) Wasted without you.

Part I - I do, For you.

When the snow falls,
I buy you and your children gifts,
And keep them nicely wrapped in my closet.

Your vampire captor
Is in my crosshairs,
But I've torn out the trigger.

At dawn,
I ambush the light,
Slit the throat and empty the pockets.

At dusk,
I seduce the dark,
Cut off the tongue and make it my slave.

And all day long,
I grind my fists trying to mold with them
A monument that will never truly represent our love.

And even in the charging darkness,
I pick flowers from the grave
To place on yours.
