- (What Are You) After Now

Another life-less city
Screams light-less,
Green dreams
Into eternal night skies.

Rubber insulated
Forest fires
Slowly exhale a violent red,
Vibrant horizon glow.

Flowing haze silhouettes
Semi-sane aqueduct outlines,
Oddweb strung titanium vines:
An always informative intertwine.
Pulsar conductors synthetically sidetrack
Steady circuit stampedes.

False absorb,
Pulse defuse,
Along broken symphony strings,
Brings focus to:
Legless rageways
That rise and rain
Between the cracks
Of designer shade,
Phantom monoliths
Dressed in black
Ice-burnt steel,
And silent cathedrals frozen
In digi-gothic robes.

Charred copper fray
Deframes deflated
Gearshift ravens,
Talon itch, choking
Power grid sensations.
Empty gazes rest upon
Parallel peaks
Before slipping below
The no control
Automated undergrowth.

Momentary motion captures
Amusing train wreck,
Alludes to
Senseless contentment smiles.
Square suited
Muted pill routines.
Gleaming, grounded eyes,
Guarded, flash thoughts
(Taught) reactionary reason.

Pleasure drone
Can't shake awake,
Can't drift away
From simple stereo vision,
Subterranean perpetual prison
Of a perfectly misaligned
Antenna mind.
